Welcome!

After a couple years of thinking about starting a blog, I am finally getting around to it! I used to journal all the time, finding so much joy in recognizing what the Lord was teaching me each day. I hope that this blog can be a place to share with you what all is going on for Greg and me. Each week has its challenges and surprises and we hope to capture some of those memories here. We want to share it with you!

I am always amazed how Thanksgiving's call to give thanks hits me like a ton of bricks. I (Libby) like to think that I am a generally thankful person. I often feel thankful for many blessings but I realize at Thanksgiving each year that I am not good at expressing that thankfulness. I really keep people from being blessed because I don't say anything! That is what this year's day of thanks has convicted me of. So to you who reads this and has loved us so well, I am thankful for YOU! Everyone in our lives is an incredible blessing and I hope to be better in the coming year to really share that individually with each person who has uniquely touched our lives.

Greg and I are sitting here getting ready to watch the big A&M-Texas game. Haha, we'll keep our fingers crossed! Next we are getting the Christmas decorations up this weekend. :-) One of my very favorite times of the year. Ciao for now.
