More bragging on the Gregster

Y'all may not care as much as I do, but I love getting to share Greg's achievements and the pay-offs that come from all of his hard work! This is by far his hardest semester in grad school, and he is doing so great.

* He just got a "revise and re-submit" notice from the editor of a journal he sent an article to for publication. This is what you want to hear when you send one in! This means he has a good chance of getting published if he makes the requested changes and sends it in again. Yay!!! In the world of academia, publications get big kudos.

* He has 88 out of his 100 interviews for his dissertation either scheduled or completed. Wow! The fact that he has to do 100 interviews is mind boggling because each interview takes 30 min- 1 1/2 hours of his day. That's a lot of time! The Lord has really blessed Greg's work in this area. When we thought people wouldn't sign up, they did! Only 12 more to go!!

* He's had a phone interview with the University of Kansas for a potential job as an Assistant Professor. He's got an interview set up with Washington State next month. And he's been invited to a dinner social with Pepperdine people at the NCA convention. So the job search has started out well!

This is a stressful time but it is also soooo exciting!
