A Few Updates

The days have been clicking by and each moment is a little closer to Moving Day whenever that might be. We've been playing the hurry up and wait game with our plans and I am getting comfortable with the idea that not everything will be cut and dry this year. When we move, whether we buy a house, when/if I get a job, which cars we'll be driving by that point, what moving company to use, who is helping, etc have yet to be ironed out. We will get there, though. One by one these answers will come to light.

One of the best parts of March was this past weekend. I traveled to Charlotte with Mom to see Aunt Sue, George, and Granmama. It was a wonderfully relaxing time! Lots of snacking and sleeping in and even a little shopping :-) I found some great cabinet pulls at 70% off at Home Depot Expo and a pair of sunglasses at Chico's. My granmama will be 91 years old tomorrow! She is an amazing woman - still walks a mile almost every day and she is sharp as a tack. Full of that tender grandmotherly love, she welcomed us into her home and proceeded to find something in her home that she could give to me. Both Granmama and Aunt Sue can't help finding something to send me home with. I am so blessed to have such a giving and loving family.

Mom has a few more books in the works!! They are all homeruns it looks like. I can't divulge details yet, but if you would like to pray for continued success and all the details to fall into place, I know she would very much appreciate it. It is so fun to see her giftings just flowing out and being used to educate and encourage other people. One of the funny things from this weekend was when Granmama was reading one the children's books and she turned to a page that asked, "What grows on a family tree?" Granmama said, "If it's our family tree, then nuts!" :-)

Greg and I hope to get some pictures in the bluebonnets with friends this week so I hope to post some updated pictures soon. We are going to the place where Greg proposed so it'll be great to see that special place one more time before we leave and to capture some more memories there.

Lots of changes have been taking place at work, and I am trying to finish well in these last few months. We've moved offices this month and one of my sweet coworkers is pretty much at home full time with her kiddos. It's bittersweet to watch a place change over time and I am thankful for the time I have had there and the stability it has provided up to this point.
