Central Market in Downtown Lancaster

Friday morning was spent walking through Central Market downtown. Wow!! The market is open every Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday and it is filled to the brim with vendors offering all kinds of delicacies and fresh goods. I have been told it is a little less expensive to buy fruits and veggies here versus the grocery store, so I feel like a get a double whammy with a really fun shopping experience, organic local foods, and lower prices. Not only are the local farmers and Amish there, you also have a ton of ethnic vendors as well. I saw Pakistani, Greek, Ethiopian, Mexican, Thai, and British to name a few. Supporting local businesses seems to be important to many people, and I hope that we can afford to do that, too.
