A little taste of home and heaven!

P.u.r.e. j.o.y!

We went to a David Crowder Band concert tonight! It was everything we were hoping it would be. The two opening acts, Seabird and Danyew, were good openers for DCB. Then came a show like only Crowder can give you. High energy, hands-in-the-air-feet-off-the-ground fun. The sweet sound of his Texas accent brought a tear or two and his humor brought way more laughs. I hadn't laughed so much in one night in months. One of the things that I love most about Crowder's songs is how he brings to life the JOY that a believer has and can have because of Christ. It was one big love and laughter fest with lofty lyrics creatively crafted to sing praises to our King of kings. A taste of home as we heard the familiar voice and songs. And a taste of heaven as we joined our voices with hundreds of others in songs that took us near the throne of the Lord. So very glad that we were blessed to get tickets before they sold out. And now we are hoping we have voices left to talk at work tomorrow!
