Have I told YOU lately that I cherish you? I am so amazed and thankful for my friends and family. I knew it would be fun to post the pregnancy announcement and pics on FB, but I had no idea what an overwhelming response I would have. It has been really fun to see all of the excitement and support and it is such an outpouring of love. What GRACE. :-)
Greg has been absolutely awesome this whole time. He cooks, he cleans, he gives me massages, he prays over us and our baby every day, and he takes Buddy on most of the walks on these cold days! He is so patient with me when all I want is brownies or to lay on the couch and watch a movie. He even sleeps in the recliner when I think I'll sleep better on the couch. What GRACE :-)
My co-workers have been patient with my tears this week when my enrollment has gone to heck in a handbasket. They have been so supportive of me and complimentary of my hard work. And today the financial aid director asked me what my biggest craving has been. I told him popsicles. The man actually went out on his lunch break and bought me a box of popsicles to run to when my days up at the office are hard. What GRACE :-)
On top of all that, it is just so incomprehensibly awesome to dwell on the fact that the Lord is growing His precious child in me right now. All 4-5 inches of him/her are kicking, sucking, smiling around in there. Wow! I start my second trimester next Wednesday and look forward to so many firsts...the first sign of a belly, the first little flutters, the first burst of energy back (I hope!), and knowing if we are having a boy or girl (I hope!). Rejoicing today....
