A few updates...

I got a date set with Early Intervention for the developmental evaluation! February 18th will be here before we know it. And who knows? Maybe I won't need the appointment anymore by then!

Emily has a cold and that is why she was soooo cranky with her tummy time earlier this week. She wasn't running a fever that morning but by the afternoon it was 101! And I was making her get all that exercise. Poor girl! She is no longer running a fever and seems much happier now. She had a cold at 3 months old and now this one, so it had been awhile since we'd had any sickness in our house. I should have known that clinginess equals sickness! Thankfully it has not turned into an ear infection.

Yesterday was GREAT tummy time! I placed her on her donut rings and she stayed content playing with her toys and pushing up on her arms for 20-30 minute stretches throughout the day. I was so surprised! Usually 10 minutes is our absolute max before a meltdown. I think we just had to push through those first few days and now she is stronger and can do more. She still needs the donut ring to take the pressure off her belly, but I will use it as long as it keeps helping her! She rolled off of it twice yesterday when she lost her balance! So progress is being made, and I am feeling much better about it all today.

Here is a picture of the crazy snowfall we had this week:
