Dissertation and Rental Update!

We got great news today from Greg's advisor! She has "approved" the first 3 chapters out of the 5 as complete :-) This means he only has to finalize the last 2 in the next 3 weeks. It is a relief to know that the first 3 are essentially done no matter what revisions need to be done with the last two chapters. He can see the light at the end of the tunnel (and it's not a train coming at him ;-) )

In other news, we've been searching all the rental properties in Lancaster and think we've settled on one that we really like! I head up there next week, so we'll see if it's still "the one" after I take a look at it. It's a 2 bed, 1 1/2 bath townhome in a really great part of the city. We'd be close to a huge beautiful park, some great neighborhoods to walk in, and all the city amenities like the farmer's market, art galleries, and restaurants. I think we'll enjoy being in the midst of the city activity again. Plus the first month's rent is FREE! So if we get one that is available in July, we wouldn't pay our first rent until August! Can't tell you how much that would help out :-) If I end up signing next week, I'll obviously post pics when I get back. The outsides are beautiful. I think the inside is super plain, but they said I can paint, so maybe that will help!
