I'm Here!!!

I just arrived in Lancaster and it is BEAUTIFUL! Even with the rain I can't get over all the trees and winding roads and quaint little houses. I am about to strike out on my own to find a place to eat and just see a little of the area before the sun goes down. Tomorrow I get a tour with one of Greg's colleagues (his name is Greg, too, actually) and his wife, Jackie. They are going to show me some highlights and take me to lunch. On the plane I sat next to a guy from Lancaster (which is kind of surprising considering I flew into Harrisburg.) It was so reassuring to actually meet someone who lives there and hear that he loves living there and that I will probably really enjoy it, too. He even said people are really friendly, which is contrary to what I've heard from other people. So far he is right! More posts to come as I explore the area and pick out a place for us to live when we move in the next couple months.
