Dissertation is written!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, folks, this milestone has finally come! Yesterday afternoon Greg handed over the reins of the diss. to his committee members for them to read and evaluate before he defends. It was an incredibly grueling weekend of 10-14 hours of writing each day. But it's done! :-) He is giving himself 1 or 2 days to rest before he prepares for the defense. We kicked it off with a big root beer, spicy turkey burgers, and the season premier of The Closer (yes!) Then we went to bed early, which was the first time in a long time, and talked more about what I might be doing with my time when we get up to PA. And this morning Greg got to go to his beloved Tuesday Men's Bible Study for the first time in months. I think he was itching to get some friend time in and to have some encouragement from other men who had been through the ringer with their jobs before. I am hoping that today is as low key as possible for him. The defense is next Monday and then he'll be DONE!!! What a great 4 letter word :-)
