Friday's This and That

Fridays make me happy. Just knowing that in a few hours I will be on my way to free time, fun, and festivities gives me that extra boost! Tonight I have a fun party to go to (can't remember the last time I had a party to go to!) and tomorrow has all of a sudden become a totally free day for me. I thought I'd be having a garage sale and visiting with the in-laws but both got moved. So tomorrow I will probably be sorting through what I want to sell in the garage sale the next weekend and finally finishing the book I've been reading (which I will post about once I am done reading). Last night my Bible study girls and I had banana & chocolate smores (yum!!) We ended up doing them in the oven on 325...not sure for how long, but until the marshmallows had softened and the chocolate melted. That is definitely going on my list of treat ideas for a late night snack!

If you read this today or tomorrow, please pray for Greg to have the energy and focus to finish the dissertation! It is "due" today but they are being lenient on the date and he is sure that he can at least get it turned in to his committee members tomorrow. I am so proud of him and have been so impressed with what I have read so far in his paper. He has become such a great writer and researcher! I know he would covet your prayers not only for the home stretch turning the paper in but also for the defense presentation he gives on June 15th. We're so close we can almost taste it!
