Great park!

Boy did we end up in a great part of town :-) We are right down the road from an amazing park! We took Buddy on a walk there tonight and enjoyed the sweet, fresh smells of nature and the beauty of the trees and rolling hills. There are 3 pavillions, basketball courts, beach volleyball courts, playgrounds, softball fields, and a 9 hole disc golf course. But best of all, Little Conestoga Creek winds its way all around the park and they have paved out paths and bridges to give you stunning views of this little natural wonder. I will get pictures the next time I go! The creek actually runs right behind our townhome complex, but it widens at the park to give you an even better view. I am going to love having this park to come to and meditate on the Word, on the beauty of God's creation, and to just relax with my sweet hubby.

I did not make any headway yesterday with Hope International. I drove to 5 of the supposed Pond Tour locations and only one actually had anyone there! The person manning that location was an employee of the company where the pond was located, so it wasn't even a networking contact. I don't see any more local events happening for Hope for awhile, so I will just need to call or visit in person to find out more. Oh well!
