Well, we are getting totally indoctrinated into the northern winters this year. The snowfall over the past 5 days is poised to break some records...even back to 1884 when they started tracking the snowfall! Last Friday and Saturday we got pummeled with about 27 inches. Today we are expected to get another 12-18 inches (looking like 18 to me) on top of the 27 that didn't have a chance to melt. That's 3 1/2 feet of snow, people! And when you move it off the sidewalks and driveway, it makes stacks that are getting to be 5 and 6 feet tall. Here are some pics of what we saw Sunday and are seeing today.

Wow, I never saw that much snow at once in all my years living up north. And this is your first northern winter!
