We have had such a blast having so many family members here in November. I think I have forgotten what it is like to have a "normal" day alone with Emily. This time has been such a blessing for all of us. We had new people to play with Emily, which she thoroughly loved. And it gave Greg and me so many opportunities to run around town and get stuff done. He made a few trips to Lowe's last week, we had a great date night to grab dessert, I got a one hour massage, and we had lots of yummy treats over the holiday, too. Nursing can't erase all of those calories, but I sure am glad I have that crutch right now so I can still eat freely!
We also got to have some professional photos taken!! Emily was such a trooper and gave us lots of smiles. We had a meltdown in the middle, but a little nursing got her back on her feet for one more round. I posted the slideshow on Facebook, and I hope that posting it here will work, too, at least for a couple weeks. There were so many good ones! We are excited that we will have some really nice framed photos of our family for our walls now. Check it out here:
